Projects

Magic is life awake. Magic is born between the worlds, where the inner and the outer meet. It is part of the mysterious relationship of the creator and creation, how inner flows into life and back again.

– Lewellyn Vaughan-Lee

My work as an interdisciplinary artist requires time and delicate listening. The work tends to include those around me, the land, silence and the movement of the moment. While there have been many seasons within the work itself, the thread at it’s heart remains constant.

Unanswerable, juicy questions like – Who am I, really? What is full self expression? What is life asking? How does the mystery express through humanness? What is beyond safety? – run through the work.

At 55, after menopause and letting go of so many former selves, something seems to be coming to fruition out of this long mysterious conversation with life. And this fruition wants to be shared.

ART

I work within a range of projects, in several different mediums & modalities, depending on what the mystery requires. I have worked in video, performance art, body-based improvisational movement, photography, painting, murals, sculpting in clay, drawing and as always writing. Here are some of the projects coming up for completion:

Writing

SILENCE

After many years of teaching in meditation, and 10 more years exploring silence in art, silent retreats, groups and every day life, I recently began a 2-year training in teaching nondual meditation… or simply put “just sitting” or “just being”. In the spring of 2026 I began exploring silent offerings. I hosted a Silent Party, which was hilarious and super fun, as well as an ongoing Friday morning “drop off & drop in” silent sit for friends after morning school drop-offs. We begin again in mid-August.

STRATEGIC PLANNING

After many years working with individuals and groups in creating personal transformation, I became very interested in organizational transformation after going through a strategic planning process with my children’s school – a local public Waldorf TK – 8th in Petaluma, CA. After successfully transitioning the school into the mainstream, I began to wonder, how do organizations find the next right thing when the old maps stop working? I teamed up with long-time strategic planner Kristin Walter to find out.

Together we just completed a year long Strategic Planning process for the Alliance for Public Waldorf. (Aug 2025 – July 2026) It was an enlivening and rich process that included at least 25 one-on-one interviews over the year, attending their annual conference, hosting a 2 day in-person transformational retreat in Sonoma, CA to awaken the power of the board from which they created a 90 day action plan. This was followed up with coaching calls and 5 Area actionable Strategic Plan for the board & organization going forward.

Now, we’ve got a fabulous idea for our next project!

Our work is a slow, relational, listening-first process grounded in organizational truth-telling and joy. Together we open doors to new energy, possibility and a more sustainable future by asking the questions that matter most – who is here and what feels most alive at this time.
